Tours: Pennywise announce Warped Tour dates

Hermosa Beach's Pennywise have confirmed their US Warped Tour performance dates. This will be preceded by shows in Japan and Australia (with Sum 41, The Vandals and Bowling for Soup).

The band will be supporting their upcoming release, Reason to Believe. It is the follow-up to 2005's The Fuse and due out March 25, 2008.

The world has truly turned upside down. Pennywise is not only not releasing their album on Epitaph, but they're doing an even number yeared Warped tour, and they're playing the Chicago date.

These are strange times we're living in guys. Strange times.

This is actually dissapointing because there's only two other bands that are worth seeing on the Chicago date of Warped Tour, The Bronx and Street Dogs.

The last time Pennywise played a headlining show in Chicago was back in Feb of 2004.

I'd say the Chicago is worth it to me for the bands you mentioned, plus Against Me! (the main reason for me!).

However, it's still not even definite.

You know I just don't find Warped Tour to be an enjoyable concert going experience, it's not worth it for just three bands.

Yeah, I didn't go last year or in 2005, and I decided the morning of the 2006 show to go, so basically it will work out where if I wake up and can't make any better plans, I might as well go.

I did ride my bike down 30 miles last year and chilled outside the fences debating if Alkaline Trio and Big D were enough to go in... I decided they were not.
So I attempted the 30 miles back to my house, cut through a parking lot, got stuck in wet cement, and had my girlfriend come down and pick my stuck-ass up. The 42(ish) miles I rode that day were great, and that was it.
I can't wait until it gets warmer out!

That sounds like fun. What a brutal Chicago winter it's been this year, I can't wait for some sumer action. It feels like it's never going to be warm ever again for the rest of our lives.

Really, I can't even imagine what warm weather feels like anymore. I was watching Scrubs a few nights ago, and when they were standing outside the hospital doors, I was just thinking "Fuuuuuuuuuck! I can't wait for Summer nights! When? When? When?".

I hate November through March (and some of April).

I would go if Rise Against were going as well. One band isn't a reason to go. And I'm pissed they're touring with Sum 41.

yeah, you shouldnt , like go and like support, like yr favorite bands, if like you dont like everyone on the tour. Cause you know they like, totally built the whole thing around yr opinion. But you know, fuck yr favorite band for being on it, right?
