The Offspring have announced another festival date as they work towards the release of their next full length, and follow up to 2003's Splinter.

They will be headlining the Friday, June 13 2008 date of the Greenfield Festival in Interlaken, Switzerland. The festival will also be headlined by Linkin Park and Die Arzte. Other bands confirmed to play there include NOFX, Rise Against, Sick Of It All, Bullet For My Valentine, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Donnas.

The band hasn't revealed too much about the record, only saying: " think all our albums are relevant to punk when they were created, and this one will be no different.."
