Tours: Bad Brains (South America)

Legendary hardcore pioneers, Bad Brains have announced a series of dates in Brazil, Chile and Argentina this April. The band will be supporting their latest album, Build a Nation.

Never really "got" these guys for some reason. Don't hate em, just don't really like them.

I like how it's always racist if you don't like Bad Brains or Whole Wheat Bread. Like there's some hidden obligation for me to like them only because they are black and play punk. Sorry, these ears don't hear color.

Agreed. Like the first couple records, but you're right, there is no obligation based on race. I would hope minorities are welcomed and received well, because punk was and still is largely a white boys' club, and I'd like to see that change.

My girlfriend thinks it's sexist when I refer to Kathleen Hanna as "a fuck-witted obnoxious cunt who needs a cock in her mouth anytime she even thinks about going near a microphone."

Lil' Jon's collaboration with Bad Brains just might be the greatest thing ever produced.

Because no one will book them anymore in the States -- they are terrible live. I saw them at Riot Fest and they were horrible. Easily one of the worst performances I have EVER seen, and there are probably 4,000 people in Chicago who agree with me.

Never thought I'd see a band like the Bad Brains going to Recife. From my time there, it seemed like almost nothing American toured the Northeast at all.
