I loved the Ghoulies and all, but do I really wanna hear a bunch of poor man's Screeching Weasels cover them? They're not really that seminal, I'd rather just listen to the originals. There's only so many ways you can cover "Fun in the Dark" or whatever.

As further tribute to the Ghoulies, each band will feature one girl who you want to stare at and one who can actually play her instrument.

the ghoulies are my favorite band but i don't know how i feel about this. if the parasites weren't on this i'd probably pass on it

I'm a fan of the Ghoulies, but I honestly don't see the need nor the appeal of a tribute album. I mean, they're a good, fun band, but they were hardly influential/popular enough to warrant a tribute album...

parasites. guts, prozacs, and others doing a tribute to a great band? sounds awesome. i'll pick this up. sure, i think alot of the songs will sound similar to the originals, i still think groovie ghoulies were a greast band and totoally are deserving of a tribute..i would have ;liked to see different genres of music though covering their tunes..i think it'd be cool to see non-pop-punk trying to cover their songs..but hey, it all sounds good.

Actually we wil be including now close to 30 bands on this Comp. About a dozen of them are not your typical Pop Punk Bands. And considering the Ghoulies had a very large worldwide cult following it's only apprioate that we include some foreign bands as well. Below is a full lineup of the participating bands. Also-it;s our goal as a label to turn you onto the great music of the world we seem to stumble across. the Cd will be pretty cheap also--$6.00 with a poster

Groovie Ghoulies are ok.
A tribute to them featuring 20 bands who might as well be called the Never Heard Of 'Ems isn't so exciting.
