Mark Lind and the Unloved to release “The Truth Can Be Brutal”

Mark Lind and The Unloved have announced the release of their new album, The Truth Can Be Brutal on June 24, 2008

The band features Mark Lind of The Ducky Boys and promises to "walk the line between the raw emotion of punk rock and classic rock's pop sensibility in a way very few have since Paul Westerberg left the Replacements. "

The band includes Jay Messina (Ducky Boys, Dirty Water) on drums, Jeff Morris (the Bruisers, Death and Taxes) on guitar and Mike Savitkas (Death and Taxes) on bass.

nice, off the description i was figuring this took off from where sinners and saints left off and i was about right. after the kepi cds i'm probably looking forward to this the most now

I hope so!!! Sinners and Saints were great!! I have loved everything Mark Lind has ever done except for his solo stuff which was really disappointing. I hope he steps it up for this.

Sweet. Mark Lind's other solo stuff was pretty good. Looking foward to this. Oh and in my opinion, Ducky Boys are the most under rated punk band ever.
