New Hellcat signing, Civet have announced a title and release date for their upcoming debut for the label. The record is titled Hell Hath No Fury and is due out August 05, 2008.
The female quartet released Massacre in 2005.

I don't want to be a downer, but this band is just not very good at all. I saw them live and the drummer CANNOT play her drums, it was kinda sad actually.

They were cordial to all of the drunken baffoons who hit on them after, and cared very much about their music. However, I cannot help but feel that if they were not female then no one would care about them at all. Their music is nothing special and if any male band was playing the same calibur of music as them I can assure you that they would not be on a label, let alone Hellcat. I don't hate female fronted bands (The Distillers, Tilt, and Hot Toddies are all fine), but these women have a long way to go musically before I'll understand why they're on Hellcat (besides the fact that they are attractive).
