A hush-hush, top secret project of epic proportions.
The band released their last album, Monkeys for Nothin' and the Chimps for Free, last year. The album was the band's first non-major label studio album in more than a decade.

Long-running ska/punk/rock act Reel Big Fish are currently in the studio working on a new, vaguely described project. Prior to their upcoming run on the Warped Tour, the band is recording what they are calling:
A hush-hush, top secret project of epic proportions.

What does Reel Big Fish eat every morning before spitting up that mouthpiece and skanking out to real sknaks? A huge heaping bowl of herb. Suck it Frat Boy!!! 1+ Reply

they should have just called the album last year a b-sides album... there were 3 or 4 really good songs on there, but the rest was unnecessary

didn't hear either of the newer releases, but turn the radio off and why do they rock so hard are pretty sweet when you haven't listened to them in like a year. it's refreshing. they can put you in a good mood anytime. plus, i saw these guys like 6 times back in the day and it was always ridiculous fun. it sucks seeing so much hate for them now. aren't they at least hilarious? i mean, they're cooler than your dad. so shut up

an album with no rerecordings or covers, maybe? or did someone make this joke already?

I guess I disagree with the rest of you. The last album was their best release aside from Turn The Radio Off, and with the exception of a few songs on Cheer Up, everything they've put out has been enjoyable.

Used to like them, but still haven't forgiven them for Cheer Up. Almost as bad ska/punkish album as Disconnection Notice. | Features
