Media: The Melvins: "Kickin' Machine"

Melvins have posted the first new track from their upcoming Ipecac release, Nude With Boots. It follows A Senile Animal which was released in 2006.

You can check out the song on their myspace page.

This summer, the band will hit the road for another one of their annual tours with Big Business.

The Melvins have been around for over twenty five years. They are music legends. That's why, in Juno, it was a big deal for the Jason Bateman character to have his band open for them.

So now you know!

the new cd is good, kinda 70's rock ish.
A Senile Animal was amazing though.

the old shit is good, different, but good.

I have yet to seen Juno. I have, however seen The Melvins quite a few times and were always awesome(opening for Tool, touring with Helmet,shows w/ Jello, Big Business and such) and have yet to disapoint except that until now that I will miss them in two weeks at Slims because I am going to Europe! I'm bragging, sorry.

I am looking forward to this and the cover art is cool too..
