Dillinger Four in the studio this month, really?

In a gargantuan Myspace update, everyone's favorite drunks, Dillinger Four, have announced their plans to go in the studio the month to record their follow-up to 2002's critically acclaimed Situationist Comedy.

The band stated that there is a good chance that is will still be called C I V I L W A R, but they also might name it TCMF or BILLY TOOK HIS GLASSES OFF! DUCK!. The band promises that the record will be done by August.

In other news, recently resurrected pop-punk label, Mutant Pop Records, will be re-releasing the long out of print Dillinger Four EP, More Songs About Girlfriends and Bubblegum in the near future.

In a conversation with Paddy a LONG time ago...Mutant Pop was thinking about putting out a CD version of the More Songs...EP which would include a couple demo versions of songs on Midwestern Songs...

Maybe this could happen now?

i've heard tim's not interested in doing cd's anymore. with his experience of doing the SRCD's, and a few real full albums on cds, i think he got burned out. 7 inches are still good, and he's already had two or three come out since he got back in the game.

would be awesome for him to start doing LP's, tho. i could see a ton of awesome MP releases coming out that way.
