Tokyo's Polysics have unveiled US release plans for their upcoming full length We Ate The Machine. The CD and digital version of the new record hits on September 30, 2008 via MySpace Records, with a vinyl version to precede it on August 26th. The vinyl will be a double LP featuring the new record as well as their 2007 full length Karate House.
We Ate The Machine was released in Japan this past April. MySpace Records (17 comments)

I don't like double lps because I have to get up and change the side after every two songs. I actually listen to records, I don't consider them show pieces or collector's items. 2+ Replies

They're an amazing band live. Last time I saw them they were setting up when the DJ started playing a Devo track, the band started playing along with it and before you know it the audience were being treated to an impromptu cover before the set had even started.
