OK... This is what I'm talking about. I know there is no 'official' confirmations for Fest line-ups, but are there more things like this that everybody is pretty certain some bands are going to show?

I've got my dreamlists, but none of those will probably happen. Grabbing plane tickets this week

That was a cynical interpretation by an ex-girlfriend of statements he's even made interviews that are 100% respectable and understandable.

Though, trusting my judgment on None More Black to be unbiased is like trusting yours on Brand New. Yeah, we're more or less right, but we're also total fanboys.

The quote I read, which, given the tendency of me and everyone I know to repeat personal mantras over and over, is most likely to be the idea misinterpreted here, is that music is an outlet for his pain, and he can't wait for the day where he doesn't have any demons and therefore doesn't feel compelled to write music anymore.
Add that to his desire to do film as well, and you can see how the two could be misconstrued.
Not to mention the slant you're referencing comes quoted by an ex-girlfriend and ex-bandmate, which means its a pissed off interpretation of what is likely breakup BS anyway.

I think I have heard him say he doesn't like doing music in a previous interview, I think it was None More Black. I don't want to spread rumors, but I have heard stuff like this from him before. I'm sure a lot of it was taken out of context though.

I've felt that way (his quote) about things I love doing before. I think in general that people hold other people to quotes too literally. I say shit all the time that doesn't represent how I really feel at all.

Sort of... It was more experimental, for sure. But the thing is, I could see None More Black doing those songs. Basically, if someone asked me "Is LaGrecia like None More Black?" I would say no. But, if they asked "Are they different from None More Black?", again I would say no. You know? No? Ok.

I'm bored.

He DID quit Kid Dynamite claiming not to want to play music anymore. He lied to fans after destroying an awesome band. Every band he's done since has been a step-down. Fuck that guy. He'll keep ruining bands that people love, just like Chris Cornell.

I'm guessing he felt in a rut and as though he was going nowhere in a hardcore band like KD. Which might wear a person down and steer them away from music for a while. It wasn't a lie, because at the time, he was sick of being in a band. But after a while, a person gets new ideas. KD sucked anyway. None More Black is far superior.

Then again, I just hate hardcore. No offense or anything. I guess for hardcore fans, KD was pretty awesome. But yeah. As a very neurotic person, who can relate to pretty much every lyric Jason has written, I know how he felt at these different points in time.

That seems pretty definitive to me. Hey, the guy has fun vocals, but he is prissy and moody. This is fine because a lot of artists are like that. Just get your facts straight.

I think NMB and the Loved Ones are more just rock bands with members who were in punk bands rather than punk bands. I still llove fast punk rock Government Warning and Career Suicide rule!!!

I'm really enjoying the EP and This Is Satire at the moment, LaGrecia was good too so hopefully they can keep the good music coming.

ah, I see. I downloaded it off eMusic so I have no clue as to lyrics. It sounds like he might be singing "unwritten rule" or something, but it's just too damn hard to tell.

There should have been a joke song on the album, which sounded completely awesome until half way through the chorus, when it really does turn into a rick roll. I'm lame. Shut up!
