Chicago's Effigies have announced a short tour this month in support of their new album, Reside. The album marks the band's first full-length release since their 1986 LP,
Ink and all area dates are the band's first area appearances since their final 1988 tour. The reunited band
features three quarters of the original lineup including, John Kezdy (vocals), Steve Economou (drums)
and Paul Zamost (bass). Guitarist Robert McNaughton – a well-known film composer whose credits
include Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer – joined upon the band's reformation in 2004.

Government Warning is going to blow them off the stage. I'm a pretty big Effigies fan but they're pretty stale live and they play for too long. Not to mention it's virtually the same set list every time. 6+ Replies
