According to a report from Alternative Press, Shook Ones have signed to Paper & Plastick. The label was founded by Less Than Jake's Vinnie Fiorello and is vinyl/digital-only.
The band will be recording with Jackson Long at Two Sticks Audio in October and are planning a January 2009 release for their third full length. The band's last full length, Facetious Folly Feat, was released in 2006 via Revelation Records. Paper and Plastick (54 comments)

Good for them. Glad to see Vinnie heading in a vastly different direction than Fueled by Rawmen.

I think Vinnie might have a good thing going with this label. The vinyl only part is the best.

For a moment I thought that was the Teenage Bottlerocket logo. Got a bit excited. 1+ Reply

Hardcore Punk band records with emo/indie producer. Almost certain to have a lofi sound that won't capture the raging energy. Well of course, unless they stopped being a Kid Dynamite cover band and wrote something different. 2+ Replies

the only thing that sucks is if the band wants to put out a cd, because believe it or not people do still buy them and like them, they need a seperate label to do so 3+ Replies

I dig these guys. I have their "Sixteen" cd and a 7" on revelation. I hope being on the new label gives them more exposure.
