According to sources close to the band, the group is also planning to record a new album. More information on that as it comes in. A myspace page with three songs has been launched and you can find that here.

After a period of inactivity, Morning Glory has regrouped and begun booking a West Coast tour. The band, which includes members of INDK, Leftover Crack, Nausea, World/Inferno Friendship Society and Public Serpents, released their last record The Whole World Is Watching in 2003. A reissue of that album followed in 2007.

damn. While most of the other crack rock steady stuff has lost favor with me (i like it still - Choking Victim will always be great - but its just...well, you know...), I still really like Morning Glory, a lot. I hope this record does come out. But while I've been championing Chicago for getting awesome musicians coming by, like Ben Weasel. I'm pissed about the West Coast. First Jesse Michaels, now Morning Glory. Sucks.

Best news ive read in a while. I'm guessing LOC will never give us a final full length but at least well get the Hipsters and Morning Glory records soon.

This band is actually super good. People who are turned off by Leftover Crack would still like them, I think. Their song Extraordinary is so good and one of my favorite songs, every orger should check that out.
