Media: The Measure [sa]: "Revisionist" and "Remember the Devillock"

The Measure [SA] have went slightly less analog and posted two new tracks on the internet. The first is "Revisionist" from their upcoming EP on Don Giovanni Records. The EP is called Songs About People...And Fruit n' Shit and is 8 new songs on a 12". This will be released "by October." They've also posted the song "Remember the Devillock" from the upcoming split 7" with Flamingo 50 on Ernest Jenning Records, also due out sometime this fall.

Jerry Only is a nice guy a friend of mine once stopped him at a show and drunkenly told him to go fuck himself, and all he did was laugh and ask him why.

I met Jerry Only a few times cause I used to work at a venue. he was always super nice.

you know I'm probably in the minority but I actually thought the Michale Graves era wasn't too bad, maybe they should have had a different name but still not bad.

Not a complete minority. It was still songs about monsters and shit, however, it most certainly shouldn't have been called 'THE MISFITS' call it 'Fiend Club', 'Berzerker' or 'Fuck Your Naked Blue-Jeans' for all I care, just don't call it The Misfits.

I actually like some songs of the Michale Graves - era too. That guy can sing. They really should have used another name though.
The Misfits nowadays are a total joke.

I'm not a very big Misfits fan but I agree with you. He has a good voice and there were some pretty good songs for sure.

Shit, I just wanted to post a "Lawrence Arms' 'Revisionist' is better" comment, but these songs are pretty good. Hopefully I'll get to see them at Fest.

I'm a big fan of these guys (and gal). Their shows are a fucking blast, they're really great people, and their music is tight.

I prefer their seven inches. Pretty good band, but I only really like them in small doses.
