Attack in Black's Marriage to get vinyl treatment

Dine Alone Records has announced that they will be releasing Attack in Black's debut album Marriage on vinyl. The record, limited to 500 copies, will be printed on 180g vinyl and will feature new artwork.

Attack in Black had a busy year. The Welland, Ontario group recorded another full-length, The Curve of the Earth within a year of Marriage's release. Two members of the band, Ian and Daniel Romano, have also started a side project called Empire Air, who have just released a 7" through Dine Alone.

I'm gonna go ahead and say I've heard as many records as you, or mostly likely probably more. I just love that record more than most. Every song isn't just "good", but great. Not many albums I can think of that have that. Zero filler. I mean, you can care about the fact that I like it so much, but it would be a total waste of your time.

Also, how is a band overrated when no one really ever talks about them? Now, Gaslight Anthem...that band is extremely overrated, not to mention lame.

It's funny how you support the band you like, but talk shit about Gaslight Anthem. Yeah, they must be overrated if a shitload of people like them and you don't. Get over yourself, you have your taste in music and people have theres..quit talking about overrated, if you don't like a band don't fucking listen to them but don't go on and criticize them, especially since they aren't lame and the only reason you said that is the fact they have accomplished more in the past year or two than you will in your lifetime. There, my rant for the night is done.

This is a really good album. Stoked to get it on vinyl, and 180 gram at that!

I saw these guys open for the Constantines and while they were okay, about half of their set was kinda boring. Perhaps it was an off night. Does the album have more energy?
I really enjoyed half of their set, but was hesitant to buy anything, because the second half was boring. (at least to my ears)

really boring live, even when they were still a punk band. they plug all their shit into bass amps, i think, which can kill the sound quality drastically.

i guess i can't really say since i haven't seen them life BUT if they were playing songs off curve of the earth i could see that in a live setting being unfamiliar with the songs, it could be boring. give them another try and listen to them over at myspace or something
