We've added a new band to the Red Scare posse: San Francisco's Druglords of the Avenues! Fronted by Johnny Bonnel of the Swingin' Utters, these guys have that great Bay Area streetpunk sound that you know and love. Fans of bands like Swingin' Utters, Street Dogs, DKM, etc will love this stuff. Druglords have whipped up a few copies of their debut album, "Sing Songs", to sell at shows, but those are almost gone and that's where we come in. We're honored to have these guys on board and look for more shows and more new material down the road!
Cobra Skulls are out on tour right now with their new 7". Three new songs from those bastards. And believe it or not, iTunes actually has it available ON TIME!!! Way to go, nerds.
Got some good news and bad news regarding the upcoming Red Scare Tour with Teenage Bottlerocket. First the bad: the Sidekicks won't be making it up to Canada because of a serious family illness. We send all those guys the best and are all hoping for a positive outcome. On the bright side though, I (Toby), the proprietor of this crappy label will be joining the tour to sell merch and give out free shit. You heard right, FREE SHIT! What more do we gotta do to get you silly Canadians and Canadiens out to the show?
One last thing..can ya keep a secret? Well, we're working on our 3rd annual Red October showcase in Chicago on the weekend of October 18th. Some dumb band named the Falcon is playing, but don't worry, we have a bunch more good ones in mind. Tickets go on sale this Saturday and more info is on the way!
Red Scare Industries has announced the newest member to the Chicago-based label. San Francisco's Druglords of the Avenues, featuring Swingin' Utters frontman Johnny Bonnel, will be releasing their next album with Red Scare. The label also provided some updates on happenings with their other bands, including a new 7" from Nevada's Cobra Skulls, an update on the Teenage Bottlerocket/The Sidekicks Canadian tour, and the third annual Red Scare Fest in Chicago. Here's the scoop from label-dude Tobias:

I'm pretty sure Toby (and the label) is from San Francisco (not Chicago). 6+ Replies

Awesome news about The Drugloards. Wish those guys would make some new Utters material though. And I can never get enough Filthy Thieving Bastards. 1+ Reply

Insert generic prop comment! because If I don't pretend to love this label, I won't feel like I'm part of the cool kids! 1+ Reply

Does that mean Toby can finally get the .org to review the Druglords record? I sent it like five hundred years ago.

1) The new Cobra Skulls shit is orgasmic, but where the fuck can I get a physical copy of the 7"? I got the mp3s immediately from Amazon on Tuesday morning, but no one has the goddamn 7" yet. 2+ Replies
