Comeback Kid will be headed across Canada this October. The band will be joined by Bane, Misery Signals and Shai Hulud.

CBK's primary fan base is in Canada. Since last playing in Canada they were in the US, Mexico, Japan and Europe, and after Canada they will be in South America.

Bane should be the headliner on this tour. And this tour should also come through Austin.

Agreed. Comeback Kid has always opened for Bane. I guess cause this tour is in Canada CK gets to headline.

Based on the last few shows these two bands have done in canada, CBK has always had the larger fanbase.

I have NEVER listened to Nu-Metal, but am stoked for Comeback Kid, Bane, and Shai Hulud. CBK and Bane are hardcore-punk bands. I don't understand the "nu-metal" correlation at all.

But alas, I am not Canadian, so I'll only read about it on PunkNews

I don't understand the correlation either. I mean, I will fess up to the fact that I used to listen to nu-metal. I was in 7th grade when Korn only had a CD or two and Limp Bizkits first came out. Small town and no elder influence on my taste. But that was in the past. We don't talk about that. Regardless...I'm NOT pumped because I don't live in Canada.

well well well, A good hardcore tour in Canada finally...Bane will be amazing I am sure, Too bad Scott isnt singing for Comeback Kid, He was forsure the better vocals for the band....Never heard of Misery Signals thou....

Is the Smallman logo there since this is a Canadian tour? Comeback Kid seems like they might be ending their run as a band, or at least about to go on "indefinite hiatus."
I do miss Scott's vocals...

Smallman logo is there because CBK is on smallman.
Live there is almost no difference between scott and andrews vocals.

Ah I thought I knew that, and I have yet to see them live sadly. They still are a favorite band though. I guess I really liked the way they went with Waking The Dead, and then Broadcasting was quite a different direction. Not that I want to hear the same record over and over, but I would've liked to hear the more punk/hardcore style than the metal/hardcore style. But like I said, still a fave.

I'm pretty sure CBK is from Canada... I could be wrong though.

And this is the best tour of the year. It kills the shit out of the Gaslight Anthem/Thrice/Rise Against/Alkaline Threesome tour.

I don't know who Misery Signals are but I would love to go to this anyway.

For all those wanting to attend the Sherbrooke date looks like you might have to drive a bit. The Sherbrooke date is no longer there. October 22nd is now at the Cabaret Bos Office in Drummondville.
