Bloomington, IN's Defiance, Ohio recently recorded the new song "Hair Pool" on a video for the website If You Make It as part of the site's Pink Couch series, where bands record songs live while sitting on a pink couch. Defiance, Ohio released The Fear, The Fear, The Fear last year through No Idea.

I missed them play because they decided it would be good to play in the middle of nowhere recently. The only downside to folk punk is they don't care if you can find them or not. They'd probably prefer you didn't.

I was gonna post on here and ask if I was the only one that though this band was horribly overrated. Then I read the comments. So, I'm just going to state it. I think this band is horribly overrated. I like the whole folk punk thing, but their songs come off flat to me, and the violin sounds as gimmicky as it did with Yellowcard.
