Ben Nichols, lead vocalist of Memphis' own Lucero, has released a new 7-song solo EP to coincide with his ongoing run on the Revival Tour with Tim Barry, Chuck Ragan and Tom Gabel. The EP is based around the novel, Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Ben is selling the CD (and instant download) via the Lucero Website.
The band has also posted a live video of the track, "Johnny Davis" and you can check that out here. Universal Music Group (66 comments)

Blood Merdian is fucking awesome. Blew my mind. I don't think the movie that's in the works can ever give that book justice. 2+ Replies

This is an excellent EP. "The Kid" and "Chambers" are my initial favorites. And you can get a special t-shirt, which is great because I could never have enough of those. I am a complete sucker for the album/t-shirt deal.

I really like Lucero. They're different that most of what's out there. | Features
