This is a great album, but I still don't get how anybody can call it their best. 13+ Replies

I guess Doghouse has to recoup expenses on all those Weatherbox and Limbeck albums somehow. 1+ Reply

I love this band, when I first heard Four Minute Mile it opened me up to a lot of great bands that I still listen to today; Braid, Rainer Maria, Sunny Day Real Estate, etc.

While I do like The New Amsterdams, Reggie and the Full Effect, the Terrible Twos, Blackpool Lights, and Matt Pryor's solo stuff that isn't the New Ams, none of them will ever be as good as The Get Up Kids. 2+ Replies

I know it isn't on this record, but "I'm a loner dottie, a rebel" is one of my favorite songs ever. 1+ Reply

absolute favorite album of all time. Number 2 being something to write home about.

we used to hate the shit out of this band when they released this record.that was emo back then and we made fun of all the people liking it.
I-type-poorly (October 30, 2008)
I love this band, but this album is pure garbage. It tries to sounds pretty, but the sound quality is crap. It also inspired a thousand crappy high school emo bands who did that boring quiet/loud thing. 1+ Reply

I hate emo bands and make fun of them all the time, but this is a great record, still one of my altime faves. These guys are the exception to the rule.
