Dirtnap Records has signed Portland, Oregon's Autistic Youth. The label will jointly release the band's second full length in sprin of 2009 with Portland's Black Water Records. The album will see release in Europe via Taken By Surprise and Sabotage Records.
The label compares the band to recent northern European bands like No Hope For The Kids, Masshysteri and the Vicious, as well as their hometown influences the Observers. The band lists Wipers, Adolescents and Reagan Youth as influence. Dirtnap Records (17 comments)

I have Landmine Beach and It's pretty good. All the comparisons and hype these dudes were getting in some reviews probably had me expecting a little too much. They aren't nearly as great as any of the other bands listed up there, but I'll be looking forward to their future stuff. Pretty much everything Dirtnap releases is good.
