Reel Big Fish unveil "Fame, Fortune and Fornication" artwork

Reel Big Fish have posted the cover art for their new covers album. The record is titled Fame, Fortune and Fornication and is due out January 20, 2009. The band will take on songs like Poison's "Talk Dirty To Me", Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down", John Mellencamp's "Authority Song", and The Eagles "The Long Run" as well as ska/reggae classics like Desmond Dekker's "Keep A Cool Head" and Toots and The Maytals "Monkey Man."

First of all, no.

Second, I need some help...
Im getting a lap top and all of my music is on my current computer. Is there any way without downloading 300 CD's individually to the lap top, that I could do it?
Does iTunes allow you to save all of your songs to an account? I've never made and accont with iTunes.

you could do it by putting all the files on a usb drive...

i'm sure there are programs you can use to transfer files directly if you have a usb to usb cable...

do you have or can you get an external hd? or a webhost?

all of my work is done on 3 different computers and i'm always having to grab images at random times so i have a couple external drives or in a pinch i ftp them to myself.

I would think that the only real option you have is to drop all your music onto an external HD (if you don't have one, you should definitely get one anyway since they've become so much cheaper, plus backing up files is never a bad idea) and then you can plug the HD into your new computer and transfer all the music. I don't know any other way you could do it.

I basically use my ipod as an external hard drive, copy all the files onto it, then transfer it over to the new computer. It takes a long time but it works. Of course, that would require having an ipod and consequently being so not punx.

Yea I have an iPod.
But I was told that you couldn't put the music on your iPod and then transfer it to another computer.

You can; if you have a Mac download Senuti- http://fadingred.org/senuti/
If you have Windows, Winamp will do it.

Or on either, your iPod should show up on the desktop/under My Computer as a mass storage device (USB hard drive). You might have to go into iTunes while the iPod is connected and enable disk use/mode on the iPod first.

in the finder on mac or windows explorer on windows just open your ipod and you'll find a 'notes' folder, you can transfer anything you put in there.

Shenanigans! Set up sharing on both computers, disable their firewall and plug them in to your router, if you have one. If you don't have a router, you can buy what's known as "crossover cable" which looks exactly like your regular cat5 internet cable. Plug the cable into both computers and set up file sharing, and disable any firewalls on both machines. With that, you should be able to grab all the music and everything else you want from one machine and put it on the other.

I remember hearing something about them getting back together and doing some dates, so I'm constantly hoping that logo will bring with it "Tours: The Specials (US)" as a headline.

what the fuck. With the exception of "Why Do They Rock So Hard" (which was still kinda junky), all RBF album covers have ranged from "weak" to "shitty". No joke. Also, get a load of the "Forces of Evil" album cover. they should have made this a two disc deal and included all the previous covers they've done. And trust me, they've done a shit ton of covers. Best: "Gigantic"
