Karate High School sign to Eyeball

Eyeball has signed San Francisco's Karate High School. The keyboard driven post-hardcore act released their last album, The League Of Tomorrow in 2006 via EVO Recordings. The band wrote a lengthy "Thank You" letter which can be found here.

one thing i will say about eyeball is that they never sign the same band twice, which i have always admired them for.

considering they've signed (discovered) like 30 bands from the casualties to H2O, thursday, my chemical romance, the killing tree etc. they are going to have bands that differet people like/don't like along the way was my point.

I'm pretty positive the actual 7 inch came out after they'd already released the EVR 7inch. Although, being the 90s, they could have released a cassette first.

Saw these guys a few years back, awful then, awful now. Only back in the day they seemed like more spazzy, Mindless Self Indulgence rip offs.

Saw these guys a couple months ago with Foxy Shazam. Keyboard player was playing along to obviously pre-programmed beats, it was weak sauce. I mean, A for effort but if you're gonna have sample snares and what not in your songs, and not bother to play them live...just keep the shit at home.

I seem to remember these guys being promoted a couple of years back as having a development deal with Universal. Apparently, it didn't develop.

Apparently they wanted to take control of their sound and everything, so they were like fuck that.

Apparently, there's no need to get cunty, since I just said it didn't work out. But, maybe they shouldn't have gotten involved with Universal in the first place? Did they think they'd be the first band to be able to control their destiny's on a major? Maybe they should let someone take control of their sound, since it's pretty bad now.
