The Living End's recent gig at Sydney's Enmore Theatre is now streaming online. The show was in support of the band's 2008 album, White Noise.

That set listing is a little disappointing, but they are amazing live none the less. I just hope they come back to America next year.

I think it sounds like the sum of its parts. Lookout Records circa 1992. There my in fact be a God.

Apparently the people there couldn't hear vocals either but said one of the songs sounded similar to 'fine day'.

Sounds like I thought it would. Just waiting to hear lyrics.

one of the songs was described as having to do with mythology and the first one they played was about losing your virginity in santa monica in the 11th grade. i don't remember if he explained any of the other songs. they were all really really great.

I saw them when they went on tour with Green Day at the Mesa Amphitheater and ever since then, I've been such a fucking fan. They are great.

I'd kill for them to come back to America.

I have a video from 2001 where they do 17 songs made up of just Roll On and the self-titled album. Just awesome.

Between 1998 and 2002, I was completely obsessed with The Living End. The newer albums kind of ruined it for me.

I think it's weird that people would say that their more recent albums are disappointing.
Everything by these guys fuckin' rips.
I also think it's kinda shitty that people still think that Roll On is their best album.
Really, dudes??

Roll On, self-titled and the earlier EPs are a lot more fun to play and were so awesome when I was in high school. Modern Artillery has some great songwriting.

The two newest albums just didn't live up to the image I had of The Living End as the greatest band ever.

The older stuff I couldn't find anything that could compare to it back in the day. But the newer stuff I could easily pass on and listen to something else instead. Still some amazing songs though.
