Tom Gabel plans 7-inch single

Tom Gabel of Against Me! will be releasing a clear vinyl single 7-inch, Anna is a Stool Pigeon. The record is due out via Sabot Productions and follows Tom's solo full length, Heart Burns.

The 7" has two b-sides, an acoustic version of "Random Hearts" and the non-album track "I Cant See You, But I Know You're There." You can buy a copy here.

the usps boxes we use at work have a 'cradle to cradle' certification thing given to products that are helping to 'eliminate the concept of waste.' While I'm all for environmentalism, obliterating entire concepts from the collective human intellect seems a bit orwellian.

I think Random Hearts is better on the album then the Emos bootleg, it just doesn't seem to work as an acoustic song.

Yeah, if and when they sign to a major and get big, I won't at all be surprised and disappointed. But there's something about them that is just meant to be played in small shitty venues full of dedicated fans.

I hope the people that go to the shows will be diehard fans that get out their and dance and sing along to every song, as opposed the Rise Against-like fans whose idea of a mosh pit is hurt as many people as you can while high five-ing your bros, and only know the words to that one acoustic ballad you heard a long time ago...
