Less Than Jake have announced the first block of dates from their forthcoming Spring 2009 tour. The band will be supporting GNV FLA on the tour which will feature support from The Expendables.

I just picked up an Audio-Technica AT-LP2D USB for a friend's Christmas gift. It looks sharp and will fit well in a home stereo unit, but also has the ability to plug into a computer and transfer tracks from vinyl to MP3, WAV, and a few other formats, or straight to CD.

It also comes with Cakewalk's Pyro software, which can eliminate clicks and hiss from the files, and help you design some other type of shit?

It's retail price hovers around $120 US.

i picked up my stanton at guitar center for pretty cheap. its really nice.

costco has a pretty good deal on a usb one on their website, i believe.

check out craigslist. It took a few weeks, but I found a really nice Magnavox turntable system with built in tape deck, receiver and two nice big speakers for $30. They were asking $50 but on craigslist you can usually negotiate a cheaper price.

Saw these guys last time they were here with flatliners and reel big fish.
It was such an awesome 90s flashback night (except for the flatliners).

Are you saying you don't like The Flatliners, or that they're the exception to the 90s flashback because they're a newer band?

Either way, I like The Flatliners, and I like GNV FLA.

Flatliners definitely not a 90s band. They are a killer live band, don't get me wrong. But they were probably 10 years old in 1999.

i saw the expendables a few years ago with bedouin soundclash. i was just thinking the other day about what an awful band the expendables was and was wondering what they were up to now. i guess they're still around.

i love bands that talk about how much weed they smoke, put it behind boring fucking reggae, and totally try to sound like Sublime.

less than jake is cool though.
