According to a bulletin from Descendents on their current status, drummer and producer Bill Stevenson is working on the next full length from NOFX. The bulletin doesn't give too much in the way of details but NOFX has been touring extensively in the past few years since the release of 2006's Wolves in Wolves' Clothing. Stevenson was also behind the boards for that album.
Other plans for 2009 include US shows in January and February and a UK tour for next spring. Fat Wreck Chords (90 comments)

The wording is pretty bad here. I'm assuming they're referring to NOFX doing the US shows in January and Rebruary and the UK tour for the spring, but could it be the Descendents? 3+ Replies

Good. War on Errorism and the Wolves sounded like cahca. They need a good producer. 4+ Replies

Errorism was terrible, but Wolves is one of their best albums. Definitely excited about this. 2+ Replies

Is it just me, or has IGN been all over the punk scene lately? Now they have an article about the first best songs from their 15 years of Bad Religion: http://music.ign.com/articles/932/932418p1.html

These guys are still making relevant music and that's all there is to it.

Nofx was a good band and all but they just need to break the fuck up... like now.

I think WOE sounded good immediately, but didnt have lasting power. WIWC sounded too cluttered at first, but grew on me, and now i Like it a lotz.

Who has plans for US shows? If you mean NOFX, then why publish this? I knew that. If you mean the Descendents, I'm going to shit my pants.

If history repeats itself this one should be pretty good. Their worst records seem to be sandwiched between their best work.

Is it just me or does Ryan Greene not come off as a bitter old guy who dosent wanna work with big punk bands anymore.

I think Errorism is fuckin great man, "idiots are takin over" and "separation of church and skate" are killer, don't know how anyone could say those tunes suck. AS long as they still sound like themselves while pushing the envelope a bit every album(Fatty's been whipping out cool basslines and progressing) I'll keep listening. | Features
