Tours: Pennywise announce first shows of next year

Pennywise have announced their first two shows of 2009. The first one will be at the infamous "Hollywood Palladium" in Los Angeles. The second show will be at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. No word on whether these dates will form part of a longer tour just yet.

January 16, 2009	Los Angeles, CA	Hollywood Palladium
January 18, 2009	Las Vegas, NV	House of Blues

I just heard that Tom Gabel and Chuck Ragan are considering touring the UK in the spring.

That plus Gaslight/Polar Bear Club/Frank Turner would make for an immense start to the year.

So I was just at Westbound Trains MySpace page, and their headline thing on there says that they're the first confirmed band for Warped '09.

This. I love how they get blasted for always sounding the same (as does BR), but when bands do try to change it up (think AM!), they get blasted.

Also, I still like them (especially live) and I'm nowhere near a bro.

In my younger days I used to think bands like Pennywise and Anti-Flag were the best... Then I discovered bands like Hot Water Music, Leatherface and The Lawrence Arms and I haven't looked back.
