Well you have to see one of our live shows to really get us cuz we all get naked and suck eachother's dicks until we've all got cum plastered on our faces and then we play our set so you kind of get the imagery that goes along with our music.

I don't know man... Have Heart really blew me away with their last record. Recently: Sinking Ships would have had my vote, but they broke up; ceremony, until they released a mediocre follow up; Go it Alone, but they broke up; Resonance, but they broke up.... yeah I'm going to stick with Have Heart.

Have Heart's newest record was straight emotion that I have yet to see in any hardcore band. Since we're on the subject of opinions, none of the bands you mentioned had enough versatility to rank them MY favorite.

Have Heart is really good, and I totally know what you are saying with how much emotion they cram into a song, but I still have to go with Ruiner because they actually sound so much more tormented and insane pissed off than any other good hardcore band around today.

The only thing about lego is how expensive and lame all the models are now. Some of the Star Wars stuff is pretty cool, but is seems the effort the designers put into the sets is very lacking compared to how they were ten or twelve years ago.

I've always like the star wars ones. Not only because I get INCREDIBLY nerdy about that movie, but they're the only sets that have some kind of thought put into it. Anyways, I was more of a make my own models than "sets" anyways.

Really though, I think they're a lot better than people give them credit for. They're first two albums were some of the solidest modern hardcore I've ever heard, and their newest one was cool because they switched up their style a lot but didn't really lose their personality.

All I remember is ramone saying something along the lines of 'in the right mood they can have you bouncing off the walls' I checked it out on iTunes and liked them and meant to go back and maybe get it but now I don't remember the name. It was Pop-Punk and I think it started with an L but the only word that keeps coming to mind is Langoliers and I know that ain't right. Ring any bells?

Sometimes I really appreciate pitchfork's reviews, even though I don't like how they ripped off Strike Anywhere's logo.

However, it's stuff like this that makes me want to abusively fuck myself in the ears.

The demo is pretty cool, I dl'd it and listened to the three songs a few times and it's pretty solid. Nothing blew me away right off but I'll still keep tabs on the band.

And I think we established earlier that pitchfork sucks, sooo... you aren't allowed to enjoy it.

I just listened to Trapped Under Ice since they're named after my favorite Metallica song.
Terrible does not describe it.

Tigerstyle is an awesome newer hardcore band.

I need to find lyrics for my speech class, its sounds easy at first but she added a bunch of rules that make it harder to find.

1. It must be 45 seconds long when read
2. It must be in the first person

The third rule is the hardest, I can not know the song beforhand, She said you could have heard the song once or twice but can't be a song that you listen to a lot or is very popular. So if anyone has a song to recommend please let me know, you can look at my Last Fm to find bands that I do not listen to much.

I was all excited to see Tim Barry, Josh Small, and Austin Lucas in April, until a Louis C.K. show was announced for the same night. I bought tickets for Louis C.K. (since he is getting bigger now and I doubt he'll be playing theatres as small as he is playing here for much longer) and got 2nd row center. Should be fun. I just hope I can make it from Royal Oak to Hamtramck in time to at least catch some of the Tim Barry show. I manage to actually make it to maybe 3 or 4 shows a year these days, why do 2 of them have to be the same damn night?

Fuck, Off With Their Heads is the best pissed-off pop punk band I've ever heard. These guys captured so much depression/angst/and pissed off'dness in From The Bottom, I don't know how they have anything left....but I'm sure they do, and I'm glad they do.
