* ORANGE ISLAND UPDATE!!! The boys have been on tour for well over two months now and are over due for a much needed break, but fear not, Orange Island will be heading out on yet another full US tour in June and July with Nitro Record's DIVIT and Crosstide. The tour will take them to the east and west coast hitting all points in between. You can also catch them on July 13th at Cleveland Fest (www.clevelandfest.com). "Everything you thought you knew" is now available everywhere, so check it out if you haven't had a chance yet. You can also request Orange Island at your local college radio station. * BRAND NEW TAKES ON THE WORLD!!! The Vinyl version of "Your Favorite Weapon" is just about here, which features the bonus track "my nine rides shotgun". Pre-Orders will be available soon for colored vinyl (which is limited to only 100 copies on white). As you may know, Brand New will be playing the Asbury Skate and Surf fest this year (www.concertseast.com), but what you may not know is that the boys will be shooting for their first video, Jude Law and a Semester Abroad. * GREGOR SAMSA UPDATE!!! Gregor Samsa has just finished the final touches on their debut EP which will be out on iodine by the end of April. The unnamed record has 3 tracks which are absolutely beautiful that are both hypnotic and dreamlike. The only way to understand it is to hear it for yourself. Gregor Samsa will be performing at this years MACROCK (www.jmu.edu/wxjm/macrock) and will be playing weekend shows all spring including the Iodine fest this April. The group is also heading back into the studio at the end of April to record their follow up record for a summer release.
