Propagandhi covers Global Genocide for fundraiser

Winnipeg campus/community radio station, CKUW 95.9FM, asked local bands to cover other local band's material to commemorate their 10th year of FM broadcasting. Propagandhi covered Global Genocide's "Fucking Rich Fuck The Poor" and will be included on the CD (which also features Nathan, Novillero, Pip Skid, John K. Samson, Greg MacPherson and others) that is soon to be released. This track will not appear on their upcoming LP, Supporting Cast(e).

I'm listening to it for the first time, and I'm actually quite liking it. I liked How To Clean Everything and Potemkin City Limits in their respective days, but never listen to them anymore. I'm on the fourth song of Supporting Caste and think they've all been really good songs, but I'm still not the biggest fan of the vocals. There's a good amount of hooks.

Well I haven't been a fan of their vocals for a long time, which is why I don't listen to Potemkin City Limits anymore. I don't see them as any different on here than there.

Why they chose to put that song on an album after 7 years is puzzling to me. Did they think that it was too good to fade away and be forgotten? They should have saved it for "Where Quantity is Job #2".

Also, I feel sorry for you if people mistake you for Chi Pig, bro. He's a great dude, but I wouldn't want to look like him...

Today, my friend and I walk into the library. He's not wearing his glasses, so he sees a girl that he thinks is our friend Jen. She's not. He puts his coat over hear head, pulls it tight, growls "I'm gonna fucking kill you", then takes it off to realize to his horror that he's never seen this person in his life. Why he would even do that to someone he knew is beyond me, I was just staring in amazement and sheer disbelief. I get away from him as fast as possible, and we meet up and laugh for 20 minutes in utter shock. Then we tell everyone, and laugh for hours more that day. But he feels terrible. I forget to apologize to the girl for him in English, and I go home still in shock.

Yeah actually, she is. She's a year younger than me but in my English class that just started last week and I hadn't talked to her yet. Don't really have a shot now, because for all I know she thought it was me (she didn't turn around and look until we were both running away).

I really like Hannahs voice when he is being melodic and actually singing nicely, not thrashy. But as soon as they turn thrashy it turns me off, which makes later prop albums very frustrating, because i like bits of each songs, but hate other bits
