Epitaph Records have signed up Welsh band The Blackout, and their second album The Best In Town will see a release on June 23, 2009, before the band join this summers Warped Tour. Despite being offered "billions of pounds" to sign to other labels, vocalist Sean Smith commented that the band chose Epitaph because "We love their ethics and we are also fans of many of the records they have put out."

The Blackout's first album, "We Are The Dynamite" was released in 2007 by UK label Fierce Panda. Check out some music on their myspace page.
