Pulley set release date for new EP

Pulley has set a release date for their upcoming EP. The record is titled Time Insensitive Material and is due out March 24, 2009. The band is self-releasing the EP, having left Epitaph last August. Bassist Tyler Rebbe commented:

We've got some new distributors/licensing people in a few different countries. Just trying to time it so it comes out at the same time everywhere. We are looking at mid-March. At least once we figure out how to be our own label, it will be a breeze the next time!

It is the follow-up to Matters which was released in 2004

I didn't even know these guys were still around. I guess it's good that they're still putting stuff out, I don't know. I never really cared either way about these guys, they had some decent songs on the Punk-O-Rama comps back in the day but nothing about them every really made them stand out to me.

Somewhat stoked.

I brought my car to the yunkyard some days ago and while searching for things I didn't wanna let get wrecked in the car I found some old mixtapes (had switched to CD, but left the casettes in the car), actually lots of Pully-songs on those, so I listened to them quite a bit lately.

Yeah Tyler has been slowly keeping updates on their messageboard. He's had the finished product on his desk for a while now they've just been taking their time in finding distribution and whatnot, since for the most part they're all busy in non-pulley endeavors
