Gaslight Anthem recently covered The Replacements' classic, "Left of the Dial" for a free show in Boston, MA on St.Patrick's Day. Local paper The Boston Phoenix captured video of the performance and have made it available online.

Is this what they are covering for their Under The Influence split? 2+ Replies

This might sound weird, but Gaslight and The Hold Steady remind me more of the Replacements than they do Springsteen. Especially The Hold Steady. 5+ Replies

One day kids will cover this band and talk about how good they were before major labels ruined their sound. 3+ Replies

Anyone else enjoy the hell out of the Mats' tribute record that came out a few years ago? We'll Inherit The Earth was the title ... fell in love with the 'Mats all over again. 4+ Replies

The two things I hold most holy in the musical world are Bruce Springsteen and The Replacements. I have had enough. March 25, 2009 marks the day I had enough of this bullshit. 3+ Replies

Look at those fucking chumps in the crowd. I bet if they did a cover of Blink 182 they would have went nuts. Boston = Fail

People with white t-shirts with smokes rolled up in the sleeves, who like their music with strong religious over-tones are stoked.

Again: Guys, I got screwed by XOXO Records. I ordered Sink Or Swim from them but they never sent me my CD. This was on December, so it's been a while. They don't answer my e-mails or MySpace messages either. Has this happened to anyone else?

Anybody hear the old demo of "1930" (titled "You Coulda Raised the Titanic")? I just found it online, and it's pretty awesome. I don't think Brian Fallon is singing on the track, but I still love it. These guys are really amazing songwriters, and I hope they gain notoriety for it. | Features
