Poison The Well announce title, release date

Poison The Well have announced a title and release date for their next album. The record is titled The Tropic Rot and is due out June 16, 2009. It is the follow-up to Versions which was released in 2007.

The album was produced by Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Kid Dynamite, Dillinger Escape Plan)

Fuck Social D. When they were on Warped tour some years back I was working on the tour as well. Mr. Ness had a personal body guard with him at all times. One time a kid that was working backstage at one of the venues asked himto see his pass. Mike Ness then told the kid to fuck off that he was mike ness and did not need a pass. The kid was not punk and had no clue who he was so he would not let him back stage. Mike then punched the kid in the face and then had his body guard take over from there. Ok, here is round two. I had a buddy come vistit me on one of the Florida warped shows. It was Chuck from Hot Water Music. Chuck was a massive Social D fan. We were out by one of the bands busses and chuck looks over to see Mike Ness then goes up to him with his hand out to tell him how much of a fan he was and how his music helped him through some hard time

Unfortunately. I swear, it's a labeling thing. Whether you are actually agreeing or not, they have fallen victim to their associations over their music. Too bad, they've always been extremely inventive and it just keeps getting better and more refreshing. Oh well, its their loss for those who pass on them...

AS much as I have appreciated the evolution of this band, I miss their Tear From The Red days.
