Initial Bumbershoot 2009 lineup announced

The first batch of bands have been announced for this year's Bumbershoot. Along with headliners like Sheryl Crow and Katy Perry, the fest will include Forgive Durden, Matt & Kim, Modest Mouse, No Age, Mark Lanegan, MSTRKRFT, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Holy Fuck and others.

also. my fiancee and i bought 12 "triple" roles in december and sitll have like 5 left. our little nyc bathroom is literally a toilet and a wall, like 4x5 feet, so we have toilet paper everywhere.

They're starting to move into different neighborhoods. Williamsburg just isn't it anymore.

Also, I'd rather be in a room with a hundred pitchfork types than one BU frat dude 8 days a week.

dude. i'm just playing around. people tend to make huge, sweeping generalizations about LA (where I grew up) and about Brooklyn (where I live now) and I like to talk shit. i think its enjoyable.

the only place i've ever been that's even remotely in the south is Austin, or maybe Baltimore. i've been to fucking Istanbul, but not to North Carolina.

i dont think this is true at all.

as said above, there are rednecks all over the place. and you think there arent a lot of pro-lifers up north? its catholic territory up there, dude. you'll find rednecks throughout the south, the midwest, canada, whatever. they're all the same, rural poor, often uneducated due to lack of educational opportunities for poor people in remote locations.

i suppose you could argue that there are more dumb rednecks down south, but i don't think you could make a strong argument there.

what we need is a douchebag weapon. instead of singling out otherwise innocent people based on their lack of education and taste, we can hit all the people that just suck. preferably in a non-lethal manner.

i'm just having fun with generalizations. . yes, there are dumb, ignorant, and racist people everywhere. in every city, state, country in the world.

i think you're on to something with the "douchebag weapon" -- why not just sling used, dirty douchebags at the people that suck. its non lethal and would be hilarious.
