We've got some footage from the recent End Sounds SXSW party from March 17, 2009 at Red 7 in Austin, Texas with a one-time only all-star Minor Threat cover band. This year the event was sponsored by Punknews.org.

The show featured Filler, a one-time only Minor Threat cover band which featured Zach Blair (Rise Against, GWAR, Only Crime, Hagfish), Luke Abbey (Gorilla Biscuits, Warzone) Mike Herrera (MxPx, Tumbledown) and Rob Marchant (Riverboat Gamblers, Slowride, Saboteur) and vocals by Frank Carter (Gallows) Sam Ghanbar (Complete Control)

Yes. It's Friday. Might as well. If you want to lose weight, do a light workout about three times a week and eat normal food. If you want to enjoy college, go drinking!

I just excercise as much as I can during the week, and then usually wind up going out drinking on Fridays and Saturdays. Although the past couple fridays I haven't done shit for whatever reason. But just stick to light beers like bud light or something (90-100 calories) or guinness which is like 125. If you want to get drunk for less money, drink on an empty stomach.

my problem is the night I get drunk of course after being drunk I want a bunch of greasy shitty food and then the next day from being drunk and eating a bunch of greasy food I want more so it takes like 2 1/2 days to get back on the healthy track.

just walk home from the bar and you'll eliminate alot of the calories.

i would recommend against drinking on an empty stomach, inevitably youll ending up eating some rubbish at 3am and while your body is working so hard to metabolise the alcohol the burgers go straight to your fat face. if possible eat a decent meal before boozing will help aid against weight gain and you may also feel better in the morning

Also, my wife and I had the first ultrasound of our baby today. Saw and heard the heartbeat. It looks like a kidney bean w/ a pulse.

I didn't realize they've been around that long either. I picked up Kids on the Street in a used bin back sometime in the late 90's. It's actually pretty good. They got labelled as neo-swing band but they actually played quite a variety of styles.

actually I was too scared to ride splash mountain so while waiting for like an hour and a half for my friends to ride the ride I bailed on them and went to see RBF again. They were pissed at me and I was pissed at them on the ride back. But on the ride up a relatively hot mormon girl with huge boobs sat on my lap the whole way.

funny story? I've ridden splash mountain a dozen times since and had no problem. I just used to hate droppey rides.

I was at this and it was god awful. The big goof from riverboat gamblers fucked up the very first line of the very first song "what happened to you, your not the same, you picked up a bible and now your gone" Whaaaat?! Cringe worthy right from the get go. For a bunch of minor threat fans none of the singers seemed to know the words and the music was all over the place. But the band had the nosferatu looking rise against guy so it was cool. Check that, no it wasnt.
