Death in the Park (ex-Hot Rod Circuit) have been tapped to open for Alkaline Trio and Saves The Day on their forthcoming tour.

Death in the Park released Death in the Park last year.

My 17 year old self would be stoked about this tour. Then again, my 17 year old self saw the Alkaline Trio with about 30 other people, so maybe it wouldn't be so stoked. It would be if they still wrote good music...but they don't.

I guess this means they'll be one more band I have to wait through to see Alkaline Trio....and here's what I've said before, but will happily say again and again until the message is sent.

You know who pisses me off? That Jawbreakersucks guy. Not because he doesn't like Jawbreaker or Blake Schwarzenbach, that's his own thing. What pisses me off is that he's trying to take down Jawbreaker (who, let me remind you, hasn't been a band in like over a decade) when bands like Brokencyde are getting into the world. So yes, Mr. Jawbreakersucks, I'm calling you out. You're a fucking waste. Bitch about Hawthorne Heights apologizing for not being able to play capitalist fest, not about Blake who does his own thing and doesn't fuck with the image of "punk" or whatever these assholes nowadays are trying to do to music.

I saw Alkaline Trio/Saves The Day many many years ago. roughly when FHTI was out.
It was a great time. Dashboard opened and got severely booed. Chris was sooo sad.

I'll probably skip this show because I saw them and the AKA's at Summerfest in Milwaukee last July.
