As the release of Green Day's
21st Century Breakdown draws closer more and more details on the much anticipated full length are being unveiled. The album's 18 song track listing is now available.
These songs are to be grouped into three acts, titled "Heroes and Cons," "Charlatans and Saints" and "Horseshoes and Hand Grenades." The first single from the record, "Know Your Enemy," is set for a mid-April release. The album is due on May 15th. Update: The track listing we've got here is apparently unconfirmed and most likely inaccurate. The band will be revealing a proper track listing shortly. Green Day (97 comments)

Every time I see "Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades" it just makes me wish that the GC5 hadn't broken up. 3+ Replies

I still think that if Green Day and Blink 182 tour this summer, it will be one of the best selling tours of all time. I'd go see it. 2+ Replies

The demo for the title track seemed ok, but the lyrics were pretty bad. This album will probably sound ok at first, but get old after two or three listens and be condemned to a lifetime of dust collecting.

I’m far from religious but what’s the deal with continually bashing Christianity? What about the radical muslims? 4+ Replies

Wow...how'd a killer band from the East Bay turn into the fucking Who? Really? We need back to back concept albums complete with musicals? Fuck this band, fuck them hard in their asses. 3+ Replies

Why is Punknews promoting this album so much? I know they cover a lot of alternative stuff and that Green Day used to be punk, but seriously, who doesn't think this album is going to blow? 1+ Reply

Green day and blink 182 arent going to tour together. They would probably make more money touring themselves

This is pretty much what I expected.
I can't believe how unexcited (some might even say anti-stoked) I am for a new album from a band I really really like.
