Green Day has announced a single club show at New York's Bowery Ballroom on May 18, just three days after the release of the band's eighth studio album, 21st Century Breakdown on May 15, 2009 reports MTV Germany.
The band also performed some small club gigs in their hometown of San Francisco this past week, including a show at the 500-capacity DNA Lounge. According to the New York Times' ArtsBeat blog, the band played "21st Century Breakdown" in its entirety before running through a set of older material. Green Day (61 comments)

Weird that they did it at DNA lounge too, because that place is the full on Industrial/Goth place...but they play great music sometimes, but that staff look like a bunch of Al Jourgesen wannabees 1+ Reply
