Killswitch Engage announce June release

Killswitch Engage have announced their upcoming fourth studio album. The self-titled record is due out June 30, 2009 and was roduced by Brendan O'Brien (AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, The Offspring, Bruce Springsteen) and co-produced by guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz.

The band released As Daylight Dies in 2006.

I wish they'd drop the 'core' off their metalcore sound and releasing one dirty raw metal record. I'd bet it rip.

Yeah, these guys are obviously capable of more than this trendy shit. Most metal has come down to this though, even the death metal bands are moving into the 'core' sound. Only good shit left is Necrophagist. Haha.
