anyone else here heard of the UK punk band The Arteries? i picked up their album "Blood, Sweat and Beers" this week and it is the absolute tits! think of a combination of No Trigger, Descendents, and a little bit of RFTC influence. fooking awesome.

i just got that ska is dead album and their song is really nice. although i hate compilations it is really cool and i know its like 2 years old but has totally restored my faith in good ska. the worst song is from bomb the music industry i'd heard so much good stuff about that band or guy whatever he is but hes the worst fuckin singer ive ever heard and its jsut a stupid fuckin song. the voodoo glow skulls song is the best ive ever heard from them.

but I'm really impressed with westbound train's new album, definitely one of my favorites of the year so far, solid melodic ska, and dave hillyard from the slackers contributes saxophone on it
