Toronto-based punk act The Video Dead have announced a new full length for the summer. The band will be releasing Damn Disco, their first new album since 2006's Brotherhood of the Dead, this summer. The album was titled by legendary Canadian comedian Eugene Levy.
Along with the new release, the band is promising free rarities compilation titled A Face For Radio But Not The Songs. The record will feature old demos, studio session and reissue rare material via Juice Box Recordings. In other VIdeo Dead news, the demo version of "Cry Me A Rivers Cuomo" will be a part of the upcoming soundtrack for the Jeff Beckman ( Haymaker, Left For Dead) directed Rabidog Films production Vs. The Dead. The film is slated for a summer release. Stereo Dynamite Records (10 comments)

2 or 3 years ago i heard about these guys from death by stereo. They had a song called "scene kid target practice" which in my opinion was a much better song than there new stuff. they sound like there trying to be shook ones mixed with hot water music but not doing it very well. | Features

"Legendary" is kind of a stretch for Eugene Levy. Really funny in Christopher Guest movies, yes. Dad in every American Pie movie ever, not so much.
