NOFX announce "Creeping Out Sara" Video Contest

NOFX and Fat Wreck Chords have lauched a contest based on the song "Creeping Out Sara" from the new NOFX album Coaster, due out April 28, 2009. This announcement was made:

Thinking about getting into a message board internet feud over the song? Don't be a hater-make your own "Creeping Out Sara" music video instead! Submit your video to NOFX's contest right here and win a bunch of free NOFX shit.

The label is offering gift certificates, test pressings and a variety of options. To submit, embed your YouTube video as a reply to their blog by Friday, May 1st. The winnters will be contacted through their YouTube accounts. The Grand Prize Winner and Runners-ups will be announced Monday, May 4th on their MySpace page. You can find all the details here.

does it make me a cynic that the first thing that came to my mind when i saw this was that they were loving this publicity? considering the song isn't at all good its hard for me to accept there's any other reason for pushing it like they are.
