NOFX started in L.A. back in 1983 and has released 10 studio full lengths, about 6 EPs, and a metric ton of 7"s. Most of their albums are on Epitaph, but NOFX will occasionally grace Fat Mike's very own label, Fat Wreck Chords, with a release or two. They're true pioneers of the genre as they've toured every corner of the globe several times over, and insisted on holding true to their punk ethics. No band has achieved more success independently, and they've done it all without help from MTV or any other aspect of the corporate rock industry. Although they're reluctant to admit it, they're musically influenced by bands like Bad Religion, Misfits, RKL, etc. At least they were back in the day, now they do all the influencing.
Most recently, NOFX underwent what many would consider a 'label change' by deciding to release their next proper studio full length on Fat rather than Epitaph.
