Domino to reissue classic Flipper albums

Domino Records has announced plans to reissue four records from seminal San Francisco punk band, Flipper in Europe. Both 1982's Generic and 1984's Gone Fishin' will be reissued on CD, as well as live collection Public Flipper Limited and 1995 singles compilation, Sex Bomb Baby.

All four of these reissues will hit stores on June 29, 2009 and a 10-inch vinyl version of "Sex Bomb" will be released a week prior, on June 22, 2009. Liner notes for the releases will be provided by Krist Novoselic of Nirvana and recently Flipper itself, King Buzzo of Melvins and Henry Rollins.

The band also has some tour dates coming up in Australia and New Zealand, as well as a few Warped Tour appearances in California.

I usually like obnoxious grating irritating music, but Flipper I just can't stand.

I was just watching it, and it was not as awesome. I think I would have been better off with my memories. But then again, it was part three that was on, and I was never as into that one as the first two, so maybe the first two are still awesome. Now I wanna watch them and find out...

These 4 have already been reissued by Water Records here in the U.S.

One of my favorite bands.

I'd suggest "Generic" as the introduction to this band.
