See, I completely disagree with that statement. If they left off with We're Not Happy Till You're Not Happy I could see why someone would say that. But Monkeys for Nothin' was a solid album. The closest thing to Why Do the Rock So Hard? And Fame, Fortune, & Fornication was a great cover album. The only thing horrible about was the cover art.

I'm right here! My parents were in town and now I'm travelling for work and putting in some long hours. My internet access at my hotel is also shitty :(

Lots of friends coming to visit from MI in the next 3 weeks before I move, trying to squeeze in one last visit, so I'll probably be a little scarce over the next few weeks.

I still don't know the exact origin of the Mad Caddies bit though.

It's illegal to serve alcohol at a strip bar in MN if it's vag (18+ places) but this place served it. Had a lot of Windsor and coke there and had a canteen of root beer schnapps mixed with jagger.

There's only so much that can be done while being ska; I think there's more things you can do while having hardcore tendencies. Upstrokes get so old, but aggression and double time is a much more diverse base.

I agree to an extent. I like more than 3 ska bands, but agreed about there being a handful of really good ska bands but most being crap. At least as far as ska-punk bands go. There are/were alot of great "true" ska bands.

Now, I only find myself listening to traditional ska like the bands you mentioned. But when I was in high school I listened to a lot of the punk stuff and a lot of it is really good for what it is. The Bosstones, Slapstick, Op Ivy, and the Suicide Machine's all to very good aggressive ska/punk.

And I don't think people generally consider Sublime to be ska, and Pepper was definately never considered to be ska.

So, today, I gave my friend a ride to work, and I guess he must have been desperate or just wanted to get it off his hands, but he gave me a huge bag that was a weight of about an 8th of an ounce of total shake weed from the stinkiest purple ever. No, it's not... California people have this idea that BBQ is margarita ahi tuna and mango-habanero skinless chicken breast. Oh, and don't forget the hawaiian bbq sauce.
