Is it time for fest 8 yet? All of this talk of florida, gainesville and no idea makes me wish it was summer in october instead of the actual summer-like day it is.
i joined the navy and i cant enjoy the world's most jawsome music fest while situated on a boat or new-clear submareen.
I get shipped on the 22nd of december.
its a curse and a blessing.
i heard a couple of blood brothers songs. they weren't bad, but the vocals were fucking awful. jaguar love aren't bad though. i guess that kinda shrieky shit works well when they're playing pop music.
Google is wonderful. I use it all the time. However whenever I use it for albums, it always gives me zip files (especially media fire) and those will not work whatsoever on my computer.
Thanks for assuming the most obvious course of action was the one that eluded my infantile brain.
Zip files work fine for me, I'll download it and send it your way. What's your e-mail? Probably won't be until tomorrow though just to let you know, about to go out...
It might be that. To be honest, I just don't care anymore. Once in a great while, the zip files will transfer long enough for me to burn it to a cd, and then they disappear forever.
Oh my gawd! they're gonna play the divebar in vegas with Off With Their Heads!
This makes me so happy! Now I don't feel so shitty for having to move back to that shithole that is vegas!
I used to date this girl who was Vegas, and she always had this...unhealthy pride in it. It was just fucking lame, honestly. The way she would describe it, I would just think to myself how much fuck that place. I've never been, but I guess outside of the obvious reason why most people visit, that place would suck.
I got an update on her the other day, and it turns out that even though for three years I felt like I was this worthless asshole, it turned out she's just an emotional and life sucker. She's happily flunking out of college so she can marry her...let's just say..."different" boyfriend.
I've never been to Las Vegas. Absolutely no desire to, either.
girls are dumb. Not all girls but a lot of girls. Even my mom the other day after going to have an mri was like 'you know you're right, girls are kindof dumb' ha.
I went once. It was about what you'd expect. Sorta cool, sorta horrifying.
that's girls, not women. get to the late 20's early 30's and she's got perspective and is well prioritized and emotionally stable and there's nothing better.
My solution was always: well just bring her along. But my ex had such terrible social skills. She would stand in the corner not talking to anyone, pouting, tell me how I'm different around my friends and complain that I was talking to my ex girlfriend from 9th grade(6 years ago). Aren't all guys just a little bit different around their long time friends? Tell your friend whats up.
An ex girlfriend of mine (mentioned in a previous post about Las Vegas in here) used to have absolutely no friends when she moved here. I introduced her to all my friends, and got along with them for the most part.
In time while I was with her, I released she was kind of a sponge and adapted to my personality more so people would like her. And then when she started getting friends of her own, she acted like a completely different person around those friends.
When she and I parted ways, she still stuck around with my friends (those who could still stand her) and tried to basically hone in and turn them against me because she really wanted to hurt me. It succeeded with a few, but not many, and it never really bothered me all that much, because well...fuck 'em all.
But now, I really hate bringing girls around my friends. I'd never been comfortable with that because my male friends always attempt to steal her away (and succeed sometimes, like recently). I also just hate when a friend always has to bring their significant others around. Sometimes you just want to hang with a pal and not the person their banging. Sometimes they fight and make thing uncomfortable, or you get that couple that always says things like, "Aaron, we think you should do this". That whole "we think" shit really wears thin.

Nearly brought tears to my eyes in how much I agree. Can't stand those couples who walk around thinking they know everything about relationships. Scrubs had Turk and Carla do that one time for the comedic effect. Great show. Great words you just said.
I have a thing against midgets. I had a bad experience once.
my mom is actually the size of your girlfriend. you wouldnt think that some guy my size came from my mom.
i had to reformat my hard drive and didn't get a chance to back up a lot of my music. can anyone recommend a good hack (for windows) to move music from my ipod back onto my PC?
Meet The New Boss - Machida KOs Evans to Win UFC 205-Pound Title
By Thomas Gerbasi
LAS VEGAS, May 23 - "Karate's back," shouted Lyoto Machida, and it's hard to argue with him now that the words "UFC Light Heavyweight Champion" precede his name after a spectacular second round knockout of Rashad Evans in the main event of UFC 98 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday night.
"I tried all my life to be champion and I am very, very happy," said the new title holder. "Now I want to keep this belt for a long time."
"It was a good fight," said a gracious Evans. "He was very difficult to solve, very fast and explosive."
As expected, the two 205-pound stalwarts searched for openings from a distance as the bout started, feinting to see the reaction coming back from each other. With 90 seconds gone, the two got within striking range, and with two minutes gone, it was Machida who landed the first strike, a kick to the head that knocked Evans off balance. The champion fired back a flurry but missed, and the two calmly went back to their tactical chess match. As the round entered it's final stages, Machida's kicks were finding a home, and with under a minute left, one landed, and a follow up left hand dropped Evans. Machida moved in for the finish, but Evans quickly recovered, got back to his feet, and made it to the bell.
The first offense of the second round came from Machida's feet again, but the Brazilian was rebuffed on his takedown attempt. Moments later, Machida landed a hard punch, but Evans responded with a flurry that put the challenger on the defensive for the first time in the fight. And though they were blocked, Evans started throwing back his kicks in the second half of the stanza. With 1:30 left, Machida hurt Evans with a straight left to the head and dropped him. Evans got up and courageously fired back, trying to get back into the fight, but Machida's pinpoint accuracy was too much for the New York native to handle, and after a ferocious overhand right followed by a left hook, Evans was sent to the canvas for good, prompting referee Mario Yamasaki to halt the bout at the 3:57 mark and begin a new era in light heavyweight mixed martial arts.
"If you have a dream, go hard, it's possible," said Belem, Brazil's Machida, now 15-0.

For a band who blends the melodic parts of late Small Brown Bike with Latterman and Cap'n Jazz-esque instrumentation, all with strong acoustic involvement, check out:
My girlfriend dragged me to see them in April, they're her favorite band. They kind of sucked live, Jenkins' voice was kind of off, and I onlly knew their hits and that song 'slow motion' but I enjoyed the show immensely for some reason.
a buddy of mine got drunk and tried to kick my ass because somehow he got it in his head that i wanted to fuck his sister. his wife had to hold him back and he broke a door of a hotel room. pretty much went bat shit. well we all hung out the next day at a wedding and i got drunk and fucked his sister. should i feel bad?
If you really think about it, no. I can't really explain it, but logically it shouldn't matter that you are his friend and you fucked his sister, they are two distinct things. You should really only feel bad if you used him to get to know his sister so you could ultimately fuck her, which isn't the case.
Stoked!
