To celebrate the release of the highly anticipated new album from Shook Ones, the folks at Paper and Plastick have put up some very unique prizes including a test press, exclusive print and more.

The Prizes

1 winner will receive:

A copy of The Unquotable A.M.H.
A rare test press of the vinyl version of The Unquotable A.M.H.
A Shook Ones T-shirt
A Shook Ones print

Open to North America (excluding Quebec) (Why not Quebec?).

I remember thinking they were better than I'd thought they'd be. I'm generally turned off by bands that are hailed as "melodic hardcore" but aren't from the mid 90s.

As far as titles over the span of a career, I'd still go with NOFX. Too many classics, and they were doing it WAAAY before lame bands with ironic song titles were cool (I'm looking at you, Panic At The Disco, etc.).

No, it's more the gray skies, I hear it rains more in like a bunch more cities than Seattle, like New York and Miami, but we have a lot of gray gloomy days. I think Portland has a higher rate anyway. Probably because their inhabitants are all transients.

I'd also add that shook ones have some seriously rad merch. when i saw them i could barely decide on what to buy, although i do not regret my orange shark ones t-shirt at all. so bad ass!!
